Cross drilled holes help cool the rotors, reducing surface temperatures, which minimizes hot spots and warping. Bi-directionally drilled and chamfered holes minimizes chances of cracking. Cross drilled rotors also give your vehicle a performance race look.
Both OE and cross drilled rotors can be zinc plated in black. The zinc coating is anti-rust and helps the hub stay rust-free especially in areas where salt is used during winters.
